In an attempt at creating more affordable dining in Downtown Bellevue, Subway has recently opened a new location on NE 4th St within the Avalon Meydenbauer complex. Subway adds to the many established stores at Avalon Meydenbauer, which is anchored by Safeway.

Next door to Subway is CeFiore, a new frozen yogurt chain to the Bellevue area. CeFiore originated in Southern California in 2006. The Bellevue location, which is now open, features a very contemporary look, unexpected in the world of fast food establishments.

  1. how many subways in downtown Bellevue is this now…? Must be the 4th or 5th.

  2. Red Mango, CeFiore, Shnoop coming next month…

Remember the bagel glut of the mid-90s, where it seemed that every block had a bagel shop (Bernie’s, Bruegger’s, Noah’s, etc.)? Something tells me that this will also soon implode.

  3. That makes 5, 6 if you throw in the one by the hospital.

  4. I’m so happy to see CeFiore in Downtown Bellevue! They sell Lavazza espresso, the best espresso in the world in my opinion. No more Starbucks or Tully’s!
