hyatt_mainThe Hyatt Regency Bellevue expansion is slated to be open to the public on July 31st, just barely squeaking out their promised July opening date!  We were able to take an early sneak peak at the expansion, which will add 733 new guest rooms, 2 new ballrooms, and a state-of-the-art auditorium. Take a look at the pictures below.

In celebration of the 733 total rooms, the Hyatt Regency Bellevue is offering the first 73 rooms at $73.30 on Fridays and Saturdays ($173.30 for weekdays) from August 1st through August 31st, which also happens to be about 733 hours.  To qualify for this rate, just call 1-800-223-1234 and mention the “733 Hours Rate.”

The project, which started 2 years ago in 2007 and cost $185 million, will add one of the most fantastic grand ballrooms to the area at 17,745 square feet and will appropriately be named the Grand Ballroom.  Wait until you have a chance to get inside of the space, the first thing you’ll notice is the towering ceilings.  One of the most innovative new spaces is the state-0f-the-art auditorium that allows for 125 participants and will be perfect of business seminars and conferences.  The auditorium has stadium seating and is filled with all the technological bells and whistles one could ask for.

The conference spaces, ballrooms, and hallways have a design inspiration from nature and Asian cultures, which both have strong roots to the Pacific Northwest.  The Hyatt Regency’s expansion will be a big help in bringing many new conferences and events to Downtown Bellevue that once weren’t able to fit due to space limitations.

  1. The hotel will have a total of 733 rooms between the two towers after the expansion is open. It’s impossible to fit 733 hotel rooms in a 20 floor tower, that’s almost 40 rooms a floor! lol

  2. looks great, I hope they are successful.

  3. Whoops! Thanks, corrected.
