Michael Mina Bellevue

On Monday it was reported that the San Francisco based Mina Group, Inc., a high-end restaurant management company founded by Michael Mina with almost 20 restaurants nationwide, is looking to bring their RN74 concept in San Francisco to Seattle. Michael Mina is a nationally renowned chef known for unparalleled cuisine and restaurant experiences.

The article went on to quote Kristin Koca McLarty, V.P. of public relations for the Mina Group, “We are absolutely considering opening a restaurant in Seattle, and RN74 is the restaurant being considered.”

We send this message to Michael Mina and his team: While you are “considering” opening a restaurant in the Seattle area, we ask you to consider Downtown Bellevue as a location for it. Although you probably haven’t heard of “Bellevue” before, you need to. It’s the home to over 7,500 Microsoft employees, T-Mobile’s North America headquarters, Expedia’s World headquarters, and Eddie Bauer’s corporate headquarters. It’s also home to luxury brands such as Neiman Marcus, Hermès, Jimmy Choo, Tiffany’s, Burberry, Michael Kors, Louis Vuitton, David Barton Gym, and more. Not yet convinced…we’ll take you on a tour, and you’ll see how your restaurant would fit in perfectly!

(Bravern…Bellevue Collection…we hope you are reading this too; hot lead!)

  1. What’s Seattle? Is that a suburb of Bellevue?

  2. It would be AWESOME to get another restaurant at the Bravern. I wouldn’t even consider Michael Kors a luxe brand. :X
