bellevue-farmers-marketThursday, May 12th marks the opening day of the 2011 Bellevue Farmers Market. The Market will be open on Thursdays and Saturdays. The Saturday Farmers Markets will not begin until Saturday, June 4th.

The Bellevue Farmers Market will take place at First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue on Thursdays.  It is still to be decided where the location will be for Saturday’s Farmers Market.

The mission of the Bellevue Farmers Market is to support small family farms by providing a viable place for them to sell their farm-fresh produce directly to the consumer and provide a community event for Bellevue that is festive, educational and beneficial.

View all the vendors that will be open in the Farmers Market here. The Bellevue Farmers Market will run from May 12th – November 19th. Follow the Urban Farm Junkie, the official blog of the Bellevue Farmers Market, throughout the season for updates and info.

  1. Looking forward to it! Last time I went, I bought a bag of filberts that were to die for. In retrospect, I really should have bought several bags, to last me through winter. I won’t make that mistake again!

  2. I agree Vincent. You don’t realize the things you like until you can’t get them anymore. I’ll surely be more active at the Farmers Market this year as well.

I still wish that Thursday’s Farmers Markets were a bit closer to the Downtown core.

  3. True. It’s still within “walking distance”, but it makes for a long walk (and Bothell Way NE isn’t what I’d call a bucholic walk).

  4. I’m so glad I can finally attend Farmer’s Market on Saturdays! Woof!!!

  5. I thought the Saturday market is located beside WA Square?

  6. Thank you for posting the 2012 schedule. Will they be operating this year on the same schedule as 2012? Was this a typo?

  7. Typo. We’re not that head of the game 😉 (Fixed now)

  8. Aw man! I had 2012 all figured out. Now I have to change my plans…
