After several months of anticipation and waiting, the Tokyo Steakhouse in Bellevue is now open. The restaurant is located at the base of Elements Too apartments.

Upon walking in it becomes quite obvious that this is not your typical restaurant in Bellevue. There are bright neon lights on the bar top, with a purple backlit wall behind the bar.

The restaurant portion of the space is Benihana style, as a chef prepares your meal right in front of you at your table. Tokyo Steakhouse specializes in steak, seafood & sushi.

The restaurant is open for lunch 11:00 AM – 2:30PM Monday through Friday, and 11:30 AM – 3:00 PM Saturday & Sunday. For dinner during the winter they are open 4:30 PM – 10:00 PM Monday through Thursday, and an extra half hour on Friday & Saturday. Sunday’s dinner schedule is 4:30 PM – 10:00 PM.   Tokyo Steakhouse also has a daily happy hour from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM, and a late night happy hour 9:30 PM – 2:00 AM Friday & Saturday, or 9:00 PM – 12:00 AM Monday through Thursday.

This is Tokyo Steakhouse’s second restaurant; their first restaurant is in Federal Way.

  1. Great addition to DT Bellevue. Reasonable drink prices, good food and service. A nice overall experience…

  2. Here is their website, straight from 1995: http://www.tokyojapanesesteakhouse.org/

  3. It needs an “under construction” .gif and an angelfire hosting address and the look would be complete 🙂

  4. Interesting, bright new restaurant. I want to try it. But again, what is up with their website?!?!

  6. The only thing the website is missing is some background music which you can’t stop. Perhaps a few more animated gif’s. Seriously if you are charging $50 for dinner pay someone $50 to revamp your website. Hire a student to do it for their class project. There has to be a better option than what’s up there now. I can’t even get the Bellevue lunch menu to show me food options.

  7. I’ve heard this place is kind of sketch but I’m still siked to give it a shot. The website, along with postings on the window – paraphrasing – reading “Apply Job Now” etc doesn’t give me anticipation it’s going to be special in a special kind of way, but special in a…special kind of way.
