City of Bellevue LogoThe City of Bellevue is inviting downtown residents to a kickoff meeting next week at City Hall to discuss forming a Downtown Residents Association.

The city’s Neighborhood Outreach staff will help form the group so residents can develop relationships, build a sense of community, and advocate for issues they care about.

During the 6-7:30 p.m. meeting on Thursday, Jan. 16, downtown residents can meet their neighbors, share ideas, participate in small group discussions, and learn more about local projects as well as the Downtown Livability Initiative.

The proposed boundaries for the Downtown Residents Association are Interstate 405, 100th Avenue NE, Main Street, and NE 12th Street. For more information, call (425)452-5372.
