Real estate prices are rising in Bellevue. Most notably, a year-over-year price increase of 29.9% in condo sales, according to The Polaris Pacific Report for the Seattle condominium market.

Apartment construction is booming regionally as well, with 5,839 units currently under construction, primarily in Bellevue and West Seattle and 4,736 units approved primarily in Bellevue and Downtown Seattle.

One thing is very clear: economic news for Bellevue is very bright.

  1. No mention of the Bellevue killing(s)? That has to put a damper on condo prices at least short term.

  2. Doubt it … That happened in an apartment not in a condo. And it was a one-off incident with the murderer already caught. Beats living in downtown Seattle any day with respect to safety.

Actually hats off to the police department for catching him so quickly.

Can’t say I’d want to live in that particular unit where the murder took place.
