Chinese firm Bellevue project
Based on several media reports, construction will soon begin for the first project, by a Chinese development company, Create World America, in downtown Bellevue. The Mirador, a six-story, 162 unit apartment building, will rise at 10230 N.E. 10th Street. Second phase plans call for a 20-story, 110-unit condo tower. Reports says Create World America plans to begin construction of the condo tower at the end of next year or early 2017.

GGLO has been selected as the architect for the project, and Lease Crutcher Lewis and Chinn Construction are the builders. Daniels Real Estate will act as a marketing partner for the project.

Create World America shopped many cities on the West Coast and opted to rollout its first U.S. project in the Puget Sound region. Factors the company considered, reportedly included Bellevue’s highly educated population, quality schools and successful home-grown companies.
