According to articles in Geekwire and PSBJ this week Amazon has confirmed it will be occupying Centre 425 at the corner of 106th Ave NE and NE 4th St. Amazon plans to move employees into the building this summer. The building is 16-stories, 354,000 square feet of office space, 2,500 square feet of retail, and has eight levels of parking. According the developer, Schnitzer West, the retail has been 100% pre-leased. The only retail tenant that has been announced is Bank of America. The remainder of tenants will be announced soon.

Amazon still has not disclosed what business groups will be in the Bellevue office, but based on the handful of Bellevue-based roles posted on Amazon jobs site it appears that many of the roles are engineering related roles focused on merchandising technologies, eCommerce platform, and shipping,

There has been much speculation that Amazon would attempt to recruit workers from Expedia because they to move to their new campus in Seattle in a few years.
