Ascend Prime Steak & Sushi Bellevue

Architectural Digest surveyed the Most Romantic Restaurants in the World and on their list was   Ascend Prime Steak & Sushi, the only restaurant to be named in the Pacific Northwest. There were a total of 16 named to this list throughout the world.

Architectural Digest is based in New York and is an American monthly magazine whose brand has a huge influence on the world of interior design. Launching in 1920, the magazine publishes nine international editions. It has evolved over time, increasing in frequency and now becoming the “byword for living well”.

Ascend, located at the top of Lincoln Square South on the 31st floor, opened in June 2018. The restaurant is known for its panoramic views of Bellevue, Seattle, Lake Washington and the Cascade range. It occupies 22,073 square feet and offers many amenities. These include outdoor patios, two indoor fire pits, sushi bar, wine wall, cocktail lounge and custom wood-fired grill.

The food at Ascend Prime is influenced by Asian ingredients and blends the experience of American steakhouse and Japanese sushi bar.

In an interview conducted with owner, Elaina Herber, “Because of Ascend’s size, stature, incredible unmatched floor-to-ceiling 360 degree views, and elevated culinary format, this restaurant is a destination spot for the entire Pacific Northwest.”
