Green Theory Bellevue - Large
Last week, with much anticipation Bellevue’s first marijuana shop opened. The 3,000 square foot store is located at 10697 Main St. Suite 2.

According to the Green Theory’s website they have a loyalty program, called the “Green-Elite.” The program allows customers access to express checkout in-store, invites to in-store events, and rewards customers for purchases.

Here is some interesting information about the selling of information in the state of Washington:

  • You cannot take any of the purchased marijuana to other states
  • There is a 25% excise tax on each level of the purchasing system (producer, processor, and retailer). In addition to the excise tax, there is also retail sales tax.
  • You must be 21 to access the store. Based on Initiative 502, purchases cannot consume marijuana in public, or within the stores.

The store is open Monday through Sunday 11AM – 6PM, and closed on Sunday.

The address for the store is: 10697 Main St. Suite 2, Bellevue, WA, 98004.

  1. Open Monday through Sunday, closed on Sunday. Sounds like someone was high when they made those hours.

  2. Sad this has come to our nice neighborhood. Hope they go out of business soon.

  3. It’s owned by the ultra rich Bacon family, so maybe they’ll just tear it down and build a new one like their eyesore mansion in Medina. Gross

  4. Finally. I can’t wait to visit. I’m sure they will be very successful. I guess Jeffrus and Cheryl did not vote for legalization.

  5. Drugs don’t belong in our nice little community. This brings an unsavory element out. Its a federal crime and I have no tolerance for it.

  6. I guess we should remove alcohol from the grocery shelves too. Just too unsavory. Guess what? Alcohol is a drug also.

Alcohol use to be a federal crime too. Get used to the fact that marijuana is legal, because with marijuana we’re headed for the same result on a federal level too.

  7. Personally, I think anyone named Jeffrus should be illegal, too.

    What a pompous, ignorant ****.

  8. Visited the shop today- It was very busy. Glad to have this retailer in our backyard!

  9. Wow that escalated quickly. Simple minded people often have to do that. Say no to drugs son.

  10. I stopped by the other day. It is very Bellevue. Great service, very expensive. You can find a lot of the same products for a lot less at Cannabis City in Sodo. Not as pretty there but a better value.

  11. It is sad that the store is a couple feet alway from the road that kids take to go to and from the high school everyday. Just because is legal doesn’t make it a good thing just like alcohol or cigarettes. Any drug abuse is a dumb thing to do and I am sorry for you poor souls and body. I think if you are going to start to ruin your body with drugs you should donate at least a cornea, a liver, and the hair (wigs for cancer patients) for people who need it and will be doing a better use of it.
