Downtown Bellevue’s nightlife scene has grown up over the last several years adding a “Vegas style” nightclub, luxury bowling alley, and more. One thing that is still lacking in Downtown Bellevue is a venue with good ol’ shuffleboard table.
Shuffleboard is a bar game where players push metal-and-plastic pucks down a long and smooth wooden table. The playing field is typically anywhere from 9 to 22 feet long. The object of the game is to score points on the opposing player’s side of the table. The game can be addicting, and is a perfect way to spend a few hours at a bar with a group of friends.
Although I am not advocating for a new bar opening, I’d like to see an existing venue to consider adding Shuffleboard to their entertainment inventory. Possible candidates include Lucky Strike & The Spot Off Main. Both of these venues have adequate space for a Shuffleboard table, and already offer several entertainment options. Can you think of other possible locations?
Regardless of which establishment ends up adding a shuffleboard table, I call first game!
