The 3-acre property at NE 8th between 108th and 110th Ave NE according to our news partner The Seattle Times will be downsized from what was expected to be a 32-story office tower, to what will now be a 23-stories. The land is currently being utilized as a parking lot.
The developer Beacon Capital Partners, which is out of Boston, recently filed a new permit for the smaller office space building. The redesigned space would go from 680,000 square feet to 515,000 square feet.
According to the report the developer couldn’t be reached, but the documents that were filed state a projection of this summer as a start date for the project.
