Louis Vuitton Bellevue — officially Louis Vuitton Seattle Bravern on the house’s store locator — is the maison’s only Eastside boutique, on the NE 8th Street side of The Shops at The Bravern at 11111 NE 8th St, Suite 140. It sits next to Prada, one level above the ground-floor space it occupied for its first dozen years, and the cream stone facade with the black LOUIS VUITTON lettering is the most photographed storefront in the center. The Bravern’s directory describes the store’s range as luggage, bags, accessories, ready-to-wear, shoes, watches, jewelry and stationery; louisvuitton.com adds Collect-in-Store pickup. Not in Bellevue Square — the Collection has never had a Louis Vuitton, and searchers who assume otherwise end up a half-mile east.
DBN has followed the store since before it existed: a June 2008 post flagged a KIRO segment naming Louis Vuitton as a Bravern tenant before any announcement, and our September 2009 pre-opening walkthrough listed it among the stores opening with the center that weekend. The bigger story came in October 2021, when Louis Vuitton announced it would leave its ground-level spot next to Bottega Veneta for the former Jimmy Choo space directly above — nearly doubling its footprint — and in February 2022 the expanded, remodeled boutique reopened facing NE 8th. In August 2022 DBN covered Bellevue police charging an organized retail-theft crew that hit the store twice that June.
