Another year of show-stopping fireworks, set to the music of Bellevue’s own Philharmonic Orchestra, will kick off on Sunday, July 4th in the Bellevue Downtown Park. The day will be highlighted by the Bellevue Parks Family Fun Zone, complete with food, refreshments, kids activities, and live music and entertainment on the Main Stage. Over 60,000 visitors are expected to attend, so get to the park early to secure a perfect picnic spot!
2:00pm – 2 top regional bands will perform + Bellevue Parks Family Fun Zone opens
3:00pm – Kids games start near the Symetra Community Spotlight Pavilion
4:00pm – A C-17 Globemaster III from Joint Base Lewis-McChord will make a precise flyover
8:40pm – The Bellevue Fire and Police Department Honor Guard will conduct the presentation and placement of colors, followed by a trio of student vocalists from Bellevue High School singing the National Anthem
9:30pm – The Bellevue Philharmonic will perform a patriotic concert set, leading up to the countdown of the Eastside’s largest fireworks display: Symetra Bellevue Family 4th
The Bellevue Parks Family Fun Zone will keep the kids entertained all day with bouncers, slides, a climbing wall, jugglers, clowns, story-tellers, picnic games, and face painting. Kids are also encouraged to enter the Symetra Kids Essay Contest; entry forms can be filled out here.
