The Smeraldo family that owns Il Terrazzo in Seattle has opened Carmine’s, an Italian restaurant in Bellevue across the street from Bellevue Downtown Park. The new restaurant has a rustic Italian feel with a modern twist.
Carmine’s restaurant will be run by Carmine Jr. and Philip Smeraldo who are the sons of their late father, Carmine Sr. who started Il Terrazzo in Seattle over 30 years ago.
You can expect Italian favorites on the menu including the famous veal scaloppini that’s found at Il Terrazzo. The veal scaloppini classic marinara sauce is rumored to be kept in a secret safe. Restaurant goers can expect a white tablecloth experience when they go.
