On Sunday, March 7th at Lincoln Square Cinemas in Downtown Bellevue, you’ll be able to “walk the red carpet” to raise money for Seattle Children’s Hospital. For $50, you get to watch this year’s 82nd Academy Awards on the big screen, enjoy wine and hors d’oeuvres, and participate in a silent auction. The silent auction will feature lavish items such as hotel stays, dinner packages, jewelry, art, and of course – movie memorabilia.
It sounds like a really exciting event, and it gets started at 4pm so that you can see the stars themselves arrive live at Hollywood’s Kodak Theater. The dress of the evening is cocktail attire. All proceeds go directly to the Seattle Children’s Hospital to support their continued care of children and families struggling to afford necessary medical care. Register for the event here.
Why isn’t this event benefitting Bellevue’s Overlake Hospital? It’s the only one in the area that doesn’t get funds from the state.
This is the second year that Seattle Children’s Hospital has partnered with Lincoln Square Cinemas. It is their 4th annual “Walk the Red Carpet for Seattle Children’s Hospital,” so The Hospital is the one who initiated the event in the first place.
Sad that I wont be attending such a great event 🙁 . I’ll have my friends auction on fab items if there is any! 🙂
