Bellevue will host its annual Family 4th celebration on Thursday, July 4, from 5:00 to 10:30 p.m. at Downtown Park (10201 NE Fourth Street).

The evening includes live music, family activities, and a fireworks show synchronized to music performed live by the Bellevue Youth Symphony Orchestra, scheduled to begin at 10:05 p.m.

Entertainment & Activities

Live performances will take place at the Amazon Entertainment Plaza, starting with MiSSMANAGED at 5 p.m. (rock) and The Nines! at 7 p.m. (dance/party music).

Families can enjoy yard games like cornhole and hula hooping on the east side of the park, along with merchandise booths and food and beverage vendors beginning at 5 p.m.

Bellevue Utilities will provide a Quench Buggy for free water bottle refills.

Getting There

Attendees are encouraged to use walking, biking, public transit, or carpooling to reduce congestion.

Sound Transit’s 2 Line light rail service will be extended until 11:30 p.m., two hours later than usual. Bus service is available via the Bellevue Transit Center at NE 6th Street and 108th Avenue NE.

Parking & Street Closures

Free parking will be available after 5 p.m. at The Bellevue Collection properties: Bellevue Square, Lincoln Square North and South, and Bellevue Place. For faster exit after the event, parking at Lincoln Square or Bellevue Place is recommended.

Several streets near the park will be closed to vehicle traffic, and street parking in nearby neighborhoods is prohibited. A full list of closures will be posted on the City of Bellevue’s Traffic Advisories page by June 23.

Dogs are welcome but must remain on a six-foot leash. Tents and canopies are allowed in the park until 8 p.m., when they must be taken down. In the Amazon Entertainment Plaza, pets, tents, and canopies are not allowed in the seating area.
