Update: According to a release Longwell Co., plans to redevelop the half-acre site into a apartment project. No word yet on when the timing of this would occur.
Michael,
Interesting news. It has been a very difficult 2-1/2 years for many local builders. With that being said, you probably noticed that permits are up and the financially solvent builders are acting on plans to stay ahead of the housing recovery. At least the lack of new housing starts will help to reduce the amount of existing inventory.
Cheers,
JR
