COS, a British fashion brand known for its clean, modern style and high-quality wardrobe pieces, is planning to open a new store at Bellevue Square, according to a permit filed with the City of Bellevue.
The permit, which is for electrical work, lists the address as 575 Bellevue Square, suggesting that work on the space is beginning. While there is no confirmed opening date yet, the store will be part of the continued growth of COS in the U.S.
COS—short for “Collection of Style”—was launched in 2007 by the H&M Group, the company behind popular brands like H&M, & Other Stories, Monki, and ARKET. COS sits at a mid-range price point, offering men’s and women’s clothing and accessories that focus on timeless design and quality.
The brand features a mix of classic and modern styles that are designed to last. Its clothing is often described as Scandinavian-inspired minimalism. Along with ready-to-wear outfits, COS also sells shoes, bags, swimwear, sunglasses, and jewelry.
Although COS uses a fast fashion model—bringing in new items regularly—it puts a strong focus on sustainability and well-made products that set it apart from others in the category. COS currently has more than 260 stores in 48 countries around the world.
We reached out to a representative for The Bellevue Collection to confirm exactly where the store will be located inside the mall, but have not yet received a response.
