Saturday morning at 9am the Bellevue Square Apple Store launched their newest high tech gadget, the iPad. In true Apple form there was a line piled up throughout the mall for customers to get their hands on the new gadget. When the store opened at 9am the line for eager iPad purchasers seemed to stretch about 1 1/2 hours long.

I ended up getting an iPad myself today, but I managed to skip the big line. The Mac Store at Redmond Town Center got a whole bunch of iPads in with a much shorter line. Went over around 10am, Got in, grabbed a 16GB model, and was out of there in 10 minutes. So far I’m enjoying it (it’s a nice little web browsing device) but it’s definitely got its limitations.
Michael – did you buy one?
I’m interested in the 3G model, it comes out at the end of the month 😉
