Oh for crying out loud!! It’s really not a free gift card. If you spend $150 on stuff then you get $25 gift card & if you spend $300 on stuff then you get $50 gift card. DO YOU UNDERSTAND THAT IT’S NOT FREE? Why not just set out a table to place all the the gift cards so that shoppers can pick one up —now that’s what FREE means!!
This is the dumbest promotion I have seen in a long time. Especially for the overpriced shops that are there. People will not choose to shop at these overpriced stores for what amounts to a 17% in store credit for spending at certain thresholds. Even Macy’s and Nordstrom print off 25% off coupons or just flat out mark down the merchandise for the convenience of the consumer. Making a person schlep their cupcakes to the concigre desk for an in store credit is hardly first class.
