Grand Cru is making changes to their wine bar and has recently added handcrafted cocktails, premium spirits, and Stella on-tap, in addition to their already extensive wine menu. New flat-screen TV’s and lounge style furniture have also been added to give the bar a more comfortable, relaxed feel.
One of the highlights from Grand Cru’s Signature Cocktail menu is the Rita B. Martini, a twist on the classic margarita, which includes a splash of beer. The updated lounge now offers a new selection of happy-hour dishes including Dungeness Thai Crab Cakes with fresh orange slaw, Thai chili sauce and a spicy mustard drizzle and a mouth-watering, 1/2-pound Kobe Beef Burger, served with fontina cheese, tarragon aioli, caramelized onions and French fries.

Anyone else has been to this joint? Does it have something special or it’s another “Purple-ish” place with just Ok food?
It’s a tad far out and I wonder whether it’s worth the troubles to go there.
I’ve been there a few times. I don’t think the location is that bad but the food was terrible each time I went. That said, the changes described here are exactly what I would have recommended in order to improve the place, in additon to getting some more experienced servers. Hope it works.
