Munchbar Bellevue Square

In March of this year we reported that the entity Brewhaha Bellevue LLC had applied for a restaurant/lounge in the location above Boom Noodle and Blue C Sushi at 505 Bellevue Square, Bellevue, WA, 98004. For several months there has been an application on the 2 entrances of the space suggesting the restaurant might be called ‘Beereteria.’

Just this week the application from the doors was removed and a construction sign with a ‘Munchbar’ logo has been put up (see image above).

Munchbar is a Las Vegas restaurant located within Caesars Place on the Las Vegas Strip. The restaurant specializes in comfort foods and a wide verity of beverages. Their current menu consists of tiny grilled-cheese sandwiches, nachos, Philly cheese steak sliders, sweet potato French fries, a variety of burgers, and more. The inside of Munchbar in Las Vegas has a very clean, contemporary and fun feeling.

There is no official word from Munchbar or Kemper Development Co., but a sign up on the front door is typically pretty telling of what is to come.

  1. I’m really happy to see this space finally take steps to be occupied. With Lincoln Square being such a popular place on the weekends it will be nice to have a place to grab some late night ‘grub.’ 😉

  2. Initially I was very excited, then my excitement dimmed a little after looking at the menu. It looks like a generic American / Mexican place…

What I really would LOVE is an leisurely but upscale “food court” kind of thing, priced between Red Robin and sitting-down restaurant, where you can grab a variety of foods.

But I guess this is better than an empty space. =)
