Registration is now open for StartupDay 2011, an entrepreneurship conference for people interested in founding or joining a tech startup, in downtown Bellevue.
The conference will feature talks on building a technology startup business, finding co-founders and advisors, customer acquisition, and making money. Speakers include Eric Ries, author of “The Lean Startup;” Sean Ellis, founder and CEO of CatchFree; and Glenn Kelman, CEO of Redfin.
An advisory room will also be available, where guests can meet with experienced entrepreneurs, investors, and professionals.
The event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 17, at Meydenbauer Center. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the conference runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Cocktails will be offered from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tickets are limited and can be purchased at http://www.seattle20.com/startupday/register.aspx.
Funny how they charge more for non-technical people. I suppose they want to cater to those who can execute on ideas instead of just paying someone to make it happen.
