The Seattle-Bellevue area ranked No. 10 on a listing of “America’s Top 20 Geekiest Cities”.

The list was based on the National Science Foundation’s “Science and Engineering Indicators: 2010” report, which focused on the percentage of the population with careers in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

According to Forbes, 167,060 workers in the Seattle-Bellevue area — 11.8 percent of the workforce — have careers in the aforementioned fields.
