Tickets on Sale for Annual Contemporary Dance Festival

ChopShop 2013 BellevueTickets are now on sale for the sixth annual “Chop Shop: Bodies of Work, A Contemporary Dance Festival” at the Theatre at Meydenbauer Center in downtown Bellevue.

The festival takes place at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, and at 3 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 17. It offers a sampling of contemporary dance from local, national, and international award-winning dance makers, according to a press statement.

A free “Reading Dance” event will explore the meaning of dance at 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, at the theatre.

The festival will also feature master classes and lectures by the festival’s artistic directors and choreographers. To register for these classes, call (206)799-6004.

Festival tickets cost $25 for adults and $20 for students and seniors at 1 (800) 838-3006.
