Registration is now open for Bellevue LifeSpring’s 15th annual “Step Up to the Plate” benefit luncheon at Meydenbauer Center in downtown Bellevue.
The luncheon, which takes place on Thursday, March 27, will feature local chef John Howie as the keynote speaker, Dr. James D. Kriseman as the guest speaker, and Randi and Joseph Brazen as ambassadors.
The luncheon raises funds to help nearly 4,000 local children and their families, who live at or below the poverty level, by providing them with food, clothing, education, and emergency assistance. During the current school year, the non-profit’s Breaktime-Mealtime program will provide more than 80,000 meals to students.
