The worldwide phenomenon known as Startup Weekend is coming to Bellevue, October 24th for a 3-day event.
Founded in Seattle, Startup Weekend is a worldwide, grassroots movement to empower entrepreneurs to learn the basics of founding startups and launching successful ventures. This year’s theme includes includes exposure to cloud technology, for businesses that want to achieve scale.
Since its inception, over 1,800 Startup Weekends have been held worldwide. Search engine giant Google, sponsors the event.
Attendees have launched startups, met cofounders, and explored the ins and outs of both success and failure. As part of the event, entrepreneurs at the Bellevue Startup Weekend are welcome to pitch their startup idea, receiving feedback from fellow participants. Top voted concepts are executed by teams at the event.
Startup Weekend affords winning team ideas to be presented to top, local investors. Including the opportunity to receive valuable feedback.
Startup Weekend Bellevue takes place Friday, October 24th and will run through Sunday, October 26th. The event welcomes developers, graphic designers, marketers, sales people, and more to sign-up.
