The City of Bellevue’s Parks & Community Services department will host the annual Lake-to-Lake Bike Ride on Saturday, June 14, at Robinswood Community Park. This event is designed for cyclists of all ages and abilities, offering an opportunity to experience Bellevue by bike on a variety of scenic routes.

Participants can choose from three different rides: a mostly flat 9-mile Greenbelt Loop ideal for families and novice cyclists, a more challenging 24-mile Lake Loop featuring hilly terrain and elevation gain, and a free kids-only ride within the park beginning at 12:15 p.m. The longer routes are approximately 80% paved and 20% small gravel, with support from staff and volunteers throughout.

The main ride will start at the North Entrance of Robinswood Community Park, located at 14915 SE 22nd Street. The start area will be open from 9 to 10 a.m., and adult riders must register in advance or on the day of the event if space is available. Early registration is $20, and day-of registration is $24. Children under age 8 may participate in the kids ride at no cost, with registration beginning at 11:45 a.m.

The kids ride is open to children ages 3 to 8 and will take place on a flat loop around the Robinswood Park soccer field. Start times are staggered, with children ages 3 to 4 beginning at 12:15 p.m. and ages 5 to 8 starting at 12:30 p.m. All types of bikes—including strider-style, training wheels, and two-wheelers—are welcome, and every finisher will receive a prize.

Participants can expect refreshments, giveaways, and other surprises throughout the day. All riders under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The event is recommended for riders ages 9 and up, unless children are riding in a trailer, tandem, or tag-along setup.

Proceeds from the Lake-to-Lake Bike Ride will benefit the City of Bellevue Youth Program donation fund, which supports access to healthy, fun recreation for local kids.
