A report published recently by Mint.com, an online personal finance tool, describes Bellevue as the sixth top spending city for spending money. We know homes are expensive here, with a median home value of over half a million dollars in 2012, higher than the vast majority of U.S. cities. The company, conducted an analysis of how people in different US cities spent their money in 2014. Mint then determined which cities spent the most in 2014 by determining the cost of the average transaction. Bellevue placed sixth on a list of top spending cities, dominated by cities in California.
Here’s the complete list of the nation’s top spenders, according to Mint.
- Palo Alto, CA — average transaction of $345.09
