Cinemark Reserve opened in August 2017. Located on the 3rd floor of Lincoln Square South, this 21-and-over movie theatre includes 6 auditoriums that feature lounger seats, seat-side delivery, an on-site bar and lounge, and a full menu. The Cinemark Reserve Kitchen and Bar offers a variety of food items like poke tuna, mini-cheeseburger sliders, sriracha chicken bites, salads, flatbreads and desserts like a traditional apple crisp. Pricing for movie tickets varies depending on time and day of the week, ranging from $13 to $23. In-theatre dining service is available daily from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
How did Cinemark Reserve choose Bellevue for its location with there being another Cinemark Theatre in the same complex?
Cinemark selected the Bellevue area to launch its first seat-side service location because of the city’s upscale culture and hospitable reputation. Although there is another Cinemark within the same complex, the guests get to experience something unique with the theatre specifically targeting those who are 21 and over, offering drinks and food to go along with their movie viewing experience.
Tell me about the restaurant. What kind of food options do you have?
Guests have multiple options as they enter the theatre; they can sit down at the bar and lounge, sit outside on the patio while weather permits, or eat and drink inside of the auditorium. The full menu is available to order anywhere in the theatre. There is a wide range of food options available, ranging from appetizers and entrees like the spicy fried chicken sandwich and rosemary french fries to personalized flatbreads and salad options like chicken and grilled avocado salad. The menu includes hand-crafted desserts, as well as traditional movie theatre options like candy and popcorn.
What is the most popular food item?
Guests love to order the bistro burger and rosemary fries. Another trending menu item is the blackened chicken sandwich and shishito peppers.
Tell me about the bar. Are there any specialty cocktails or fan favorites?
There is a full operating bar that offers several signature cocktails. One of the most popular drinks is the blackberry vojito. This includes Tito’s vodka, agave nectar, and blackberry syrup with fresh mint and lime. Fountain drinks are also available.
What is the experience like for guests from the moment that they enter the theatre?
Guests can either sit at the bar and lounge area or go straight to the auditorium to enjoy their movie. There are no lines in the movie theatre, as everyone has assigned seating. Once patrons are seated in their luxury recliners and have viewed the menu, they can press a button located on their chairs, to be greeted by an employee who will take their order and deliver their food and/or drinks to them before and during the movie.
Can Cinemark Reserve be rented out for special occasions?
The theatre can be rented out for private events by going online and filling out a request form or by contacting the events department. What do you think makes our Bellevue community special and unique?
The Bellevue community is unique in that it has a very diverse culture. It is also a destination for shopping, dining and entertainment to both locals and tourists
I’m a big fan of the theater. We use to go to iPic at least once a week, but this place has become our go-to. They sometimes have problems with the kitchen, but overall the food is decent and relatively affordable for a movie theater. I hope they switch up the menu once in a while, because I go so often it’s gotten a bit repetitive.
