AutoNation Bellevue

AutoNation Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Bellevue, located at 120 116th Avenue Northeast, has officially closed. The dealership, part of the larger AutoNation network, ceased operations on February 5, 2025.

The dealership operated alongside its sister store, AutoNation Ford Bellevue, which remains open at 416 116th Avenue Northeast. According to an employee at the Ford dealership, the closure was primarily driven by financial considerations. “They’re renovating the entire property in the next year or two. The lease price went up, so they chose not to renew,” the employee stated.

The closure comes as Stellantis, the company behind Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram, faces challenges. In the first half of 2024, their profits dropped by 48% due to several challenges. The company struggled with having too many unsold cars and not meeting market demands. They also faced difficulties in making the switch to electric vehicles. Problems with suppliers caused delays and slowed production. Additionally, some of their brands did not perform well, taking resources away from more successful ones like Jeep and Ram, according to reports.

Ahead of the closure, AutoNation Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Bellevue posted an announcement on its Facebook page, informing customers of the decision. The message read: “Important Announcement: AutoNation Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram will be closing on Wednesday, February 5, 2025. We thank our customers and community for their support over the years. If you have any questions or need assistance before the closure, please don’t hesitate to reach out.”

As of now, there has been no official statement regarding plans for a replacement dealership at the location.
