Bellevue Downtown Park is getting ready to host the third annual Paws & Pride Dog Walk on Saturday, May 31, a family-friendly event produced by the Bellevue Downtown Association (BDA) and Eastside Pride PNW.
Free registration is now open at this link. Donations are encouraged to support Eastside Pride PNW and Seattle Humane in Bellevue.
The event invites LGBTQIA+ community members, allies, and their furry companions to enjoy a leisurely stroll around Bellevue Downtown Park, followed by an “After Paw-ty” complete with live entertainment, a beer and mimosa garden, food trucks, and more.
Attendees can also visit various booths hosted by local pet-focused, LGBTQIA+, and ally businesses and organizations.
“We’re grateful to continue elevating and uplifting LGBTQIA+ voices,” said Corrinalyn Guyette, Board President of Eastside Pride PNW. “Paws & Pride isn’t just a celebration; it’s a collaborative effort that fosters joy, connection, and representation here on the Eastside.”
The pride celebration kicks off at 10:00 a.m. with a ceremony led by Bellevue Deputy Mayor Mo Malakoutian and other city officials. Complimentary parking will be available at the Park Plaza surface parking lot at 505 106th Ave NE.
“Bellevue Downtown Park is at the heart of our city and continues to be a vibrant and inclusive space that perfectly reflects the spirit of the Paws & Pride Dog Walk,” said Patrick Bannon, BDA President & CEO. “We’re thrilled to co-host the event here again with Eastside Pride PNW.”
