Blissberri Brings Self-serve Frozen Yogurt to Bellevue Square

Blissberri Bellevue Square

The 4th of July marked Blissberi’s soft opening in Bellevue Square. Opening on the 2nd floor, to the left of Macy’s and next door to Finish Line, Blissberri brings the self-serve frozen yogurt concept to the Eastside. Instead of waiting in line, like at most ice cream or frozen yogurt shops, Blissberri lets the customer get right to the task at hand by offering 12 different flavors of frozen yogurt along a wall of self-service machines. The flavors are on rotation and will cater to the popular demand.

After filling your cup with the flavor or flavors you want (we recommend trying the honey lavender, peanut butter, or pistachio), head down the bar of toppings; over 32 options are available for your delight, from fresh fruit and nuts to candies and cereal. Pricing is based on the total weight of your creation. Unlike other frozen yogurt shops in the area, you’re not charged for the size of your cup or number of different toppings you choose (just weight).

The design of Blissberri is fresh and contemporary. It has an open seating area that faces out into the mall and will make a great spot for people-watching. The architecture and design was done by Chin-Ley Reche and Associates, who have also done projects like Din Tai Fung, Tully’s Coffee, and Canlis’ remodel.

Having a self-serve experience is going to be a popular attraction in the mall. It’s a fun family activity for parents to treat their kids to and really appeals to all ages. Blissberri is owned and operated by a local Eastside family who is excited about bringing this concept to Bellevue.
