MulvannyG2 Architecture plans to move its headquarters as well as about 200 employees from downtown Bellevue to Seattle in June 2015, according to The Seattle Times.
The architecture firm, founded in 1971, will move from its campus at 112th Avenue NE and Northeast 12th Street in Bellevue to an office space of 63,000 square feet at 1101 Second Ave. in downtown Seattle. The company will be under a 15-year lease at the new location.
The move is cited as part of the firm’s long-term plan to lower costs and attract the best design talent in the area.
MulvannyG2 Architecture’s projects include the Greater Tacoma Convention and Trade Center, Redmond City Hall, Bellevue Towers, and Seattle’s Hyatt Olive 8, a luxury hotel and condominium.
