Over the last year, next to Overlake Hospital Medical Center in Bellevue on NE 8th St, Group Health Medical Center has been being built. An article Wednesday in the Seattle Times depicted Group Health Medical Center and its features, which will open to patients July 1st.
The 190,000 square-foot building when it opens, will be intended to accommodate 1,000 people a day.
Overlake Hospital Medical Center will connect underground through a tunnel, allowing patients to access both facilities with ease. The two buildings clearly have their own focus, as Overlake is a hospital and Group Health specializes in outpatient treatments.
There will be an open house with tours and refreshments on Thursday, June 19th 9am – 3pm.
