Tuesday night (July 7th) marks the first ever Movie Night at the Bellevue Downtown Park. The free event put on by City of Bellevue, and co-sponsored by Intellius, will be showing the family friendly movie Hotel for Dogs. The movie will begin around 8:30/9pm, as soon as dusk hits.

If you’re driving, you can park at one of the Downtown Park’s several parking lots (there are 3) or in the Chase Bank parking lot (on NE 1st Street) .

The 5-week movie series will benefit a different charity each week. This week there will be a Hopelink food drive Some of the wanted items included applesauce, juice, and canned fruit, but anything you can give is great!

Also, Z’Tejas Southwestern Grill has partnered with Overlake Service League to offer a special “to-go” menu every Tuesday in July and August during the Summer Outdoor Movies in Bellevue Downtown Park, where a portion of the proceeds of each item on the menu purchased will go directly to OSL. Movie watchers are encouraged to order to-go meals (425-467-5911), pick them up at the restaurant prior to the movies, and bring them to the park to enjoy while watching their movie. See Summer Dinner & A Movie To-Go Menu below.

Bring your chairs, blankets, and snacks to enjoy this week’s movie on the 25-foot screen!
