Bellevue’s fashion fans turned out for the NW premier of R.J. Cutler’s The September Issue in full force on Tuesday night for the launch of The Bellevue Collection Fashion Week. Anna Wintour herself would have been proud of the effort put forth by these women (and very few men). Moviegoers were greeted by flashbulbs and a red carpet as they made their way into the theater and past the concession stand. The invitation-only crowd viewed the showing at Lincoln Square Cinemas in Bellevue. The September Issue is open to the public Friday, October 8th.

The movie itself was fantastic and unexpectedly funny. Any fan of fashion or publishing must see this movie that gives a glimpse into the making of the worlds most well-known fashion magazine – Vogue.

  1. Nice! Hope you post some pics…

  2. Definitely worth a look. I think people who don’t have an interest in fashion would still appreciate it.
