One Main Street LogoReaders of the Downtown Bellevue Network are invited to attend the VIP Grand Opening Event for One Main Street condominium complex. The event will take place Saturday & Sunday, March 13th and 14th from 11am – 6pm. One Main Street will be giving away a $2,500 Greenbaum Home Furnishings gift certificate for a lucky visitor over the weekend. No RSVP is required for the event; all you have to do is show up! So regardless of if you’re in the market for a new home, or just a real estate enthusiast, take advantage of this opportunity to tour these condos before the public!

As the 10-story project inches toward completion, this event represents one of the 1st opportunities to tour the 3 model homes and other finished units. One Main Street will make home to 57 residences once complete. Homes start in the mid $300,000’s, making it the most affordable entry point for new construction in Downtown Bellevue. One Main Street is also one of the few FHA-approved condo projects in Downtown Bellevue, which means it may be much easier to get financing for and less will be needed for a down payment.

One Main Street is tucked in the heart of Main St. in Old Bellevue and is next door to Gilbert’s Main Street Deli; it’s close to several parks, restaurants, and shops. Complimentary parking for the event is available in the garage (just follow the signs).

  1. How many units have been purchased to-date?

  2. There are 57 units total, and they are advertising 37 unique floor plans. Much like other projects that were in pre-sale during the last 2 years it is often a mystery as to how many have actually sold and the number that are still “in flux” from previous contracts. My understanding from my contact in the building is that they have 4 sold, 5 pending (under contract) and 2 offers that came in today during their open house. I’ve been told that they had over 250 people through today as well. Those numbers would leave approx 46 units to be sold.

  3. Why is called a VIP Event if there’s no RSVP & open to the public? Interesting.

  4. Jeff, this is what I’ve heard as well (4 Homeowners moved in, 2 sales toady). I was in one of the model units today right when it sold! Sounds like the event was a success.

A big advantage they will have in the marketplace is that they are FHA Approved compared to some of the other condominiums on the market. Also if you like having a deck you’ll be happy with One Main Street. They are very generous with the size of the patio/decks.

  5. I went to check out the models and the open units. I’ll have to say that “unique” is not always good.

There were a lot of design flaws, from bad door placement, pillar placement reducing usable living space, and privacy issues with the windows/balconies.

And purchasing any unit with a view of the water under the 5-6th floor could be a problem. The photo shop underneath is vacated and they have the ability to build up to a 5 story building, potentially blocking the view (devaluing the unit).
