According to a Seattle Times report Golden Tate, the Seahawks rookie was caught trespassing at 3am Saturday morning at Top Pot Doughnuts in Downtown Bellevue.
The rookie admitted to going in and eating a couple doughnuts, but said that nothing else occurred. According to the report Tate stated, “”[I’m] very apologetic to it…This is the wrong type of media I want to bring to the organization. I apologize to the team, the coaches and even Top Pot. As of now, I think that’s the end of it.”
When coach Pete Carroll was asked if he was disappointed with the players actions he replied “I’m not disappointed in a guy being in a doughnut shop when they’ve got maple bars like Top Pot has,” Carroll said. “However, under the circumstances I think they were closed or they were trying to close or something like that. So that’s definitely one. We talked about it, and he’s most remorseful about it and all that. I do understand the allure of the maple bars.”
note to self, getting drunk, trespassing, stealing doughnuts and a girls keys at 3am is ok if you have money in Bellevue. Listen to the tmz 911 call:
