Cantinetta, Wallingford’s gem of an Italian restaurant, is about to open their 2nd location (as mentioned in January) right on Main Street. Those of us who love food have been waiting eagerly for months…but it’s almost time! The Cantinetta sign is up, and according to the owners, Cantinetta should be open for business on August 21st.
Main Street is becoming Bellevue’s foodie row – Cantinetta joins local favorites Bis on Main, Monsoon East, Cafe Pirouette, Belle Pastry, Gilbert’s, and Cocina del Puerco as the street to hit for amazing locally-owned, chain-free cuisine.

Update: Cantinetta on Main Street’s big grand opening has been moved out 6 days- we can now look forward to the Grand Opening on Friday August 27th!

Unfortunately, our grand opening has been delayed six days until Friday, August 27th, as we are slightly behind schedule in receiving final sign-off from the City of Bellevue on our various permits.
We look forward to opening our doors and welcoming you to our Main Street location in a couple of weeks.

How sad…you should have hired RBI Construction for your build out. RBI Construction has built many of Bellevue’s restaurants (Palomino’s, Blue C Sushi, Boom Noodle, Red Robin, Facing East, Chipotle Mexican Grill and many others for 24 years) and have never missed an opening date.
