Cantinetta, Wallingford’s gem of an Italian restaurant, is about to open their 2nd location (as mentioned in January) right on Main Street. Those of us who love food have been waiting eagerly for months…but it’s almost time! The Cantinetta sign is up, and according to the owners, Cantinetta should be open for business on August 21st.
Main Street is becoming Bellevue’s foodie row – Cantinetta joins local favorites Bis on Main, Monsoon East, Cafe Pirouette, Belle Pastry, Gilbert’s, and Cocina del Puerco as the street to hit for amazing locally-owned, chain-free cuisine.

Update: Cantinetta on Main Street’s big grand opening has been moved out 6 days- we can now look forward to the Grand Opening on Friday August 27th!
