David Barton Gym is pumping up for the holiday season with a toy drive benefiting children in need.
The David Barton Gym Toy Drive includes a party with drinks and dancing in the gym. The event will be held at 7-10pm Thursday, Dec. 16, at the gym on NE 8th Street in downtown Bellevue.
The event is open to the public, and a new unwrapped toy is required for admission. Guests can RSVP to bellevue@dbgym.com.
David Barton aims to collect 200,000 toys for children this year. Toys will be donated to Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue and Boys & Girls Clubs of King County.

200,000 toys seems like a lot to me. Are you sure this figure is correct?
I bet it’s 200,000 toys total at all his locations, including donations from the gyms in New York and Miami; correct?
Even spread over a half-dozen locations, that’s still a couple of more zeroes than I’d expect.
