The 20th annual Symetra Bellevue Family 4th will feature a fireworks display synchronized to a live performance by the Bellevue Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as children’s activities, a C-17 flyover, and live music at the Bellevue Downtown Park.
The 43-year-old Bellevue Philharmonic Orchestra’s farewell concert will take place during this family-friendly Independence Day celebration.
The 4th of July event includes children’s activities beginning at 2pm. Regional bands will perform on the Bellevue Club Main Stage at 3:30pm, and a C-17 Globemaster III will fly over the park at about 4:40pm. The presentation of the colors and the national anthem are scheduled for 8:40pm, and the Bellevue Philharmonic Orchestra’s 9:30pm concert will lead up to the fireworks display.
Free parking will be available after 6pm at Bellevue Square, and at the visitors’ lot at Bellevue City Hall. For a full schedule of events, visit the Bellevue Family 4th website.
The event, sponsored by Symetra Financial, is co-produced by the Bellevue Downtown Association and the City of Bellevue.
Looking forward to it! The year before last’s fireworks were awesome (I missed last year’s).
Even better: this year we get to watch them from our building’s rooftop, and we get to catch Seattle’s fireworks as well.
