The Washington State Liquor Control Board announced last Wednesday that beginning July 1, 2011,
all state liquor stores will have the same operating hours. In addition to the added uniformity of the hours, closing times will be extended from 9 PM to 10 PM on Friday and Saturday nights. This extra hour on the weekend is intended to offer added convenience and bring in more revenue for the state. Between now and 2013, this new standardization is expected to produce an additional $800,000.
Downtown Bellevue’s liquor store is located at 1100 Bellevue Way NE. Its new hours of operation will be Monday – Thursday, 10 AM – 9PM, Friday & Saturday, 10 AM – 10PM, and Sunday, 12 PM – 5 PM.
