There is a new café in town inspired by the espresso culture of Paris. Café Cesura is located in the Ashton Bellevue apartment tower on the corner of 108th & 10th, at 1015 108th Ave NE, Bellevue, WA 98004. The café features food from local farmers. The café has partnered with Stumptown Coffee Roasters to source beans that are sustainable, traceable, and ethical.
On the Mediterranean-inspired breakfast menu, you can expect breakfast sandwiches similar to; egg, cheddar and bacon on potato roll: roasted figs, brie and arugula on pane francese: country ham with radishes and herb salad on buttermilk biscuit: salmon lox, pickled onions, tomato and caper aioli on a macrina baguette. For afternoon or evenings, try a wild mushroom sandwich with creme fraiche. Or sample the curried squash soup with lemon grass and ginger. Just to name a few of the delights you will find at Café Cesura. Check out the entire menu online.
Café Cesura is open from 7am to 7pm and will be a great addition for the Ashton complex, as it’s the first retail space that has been leased. For more information please contact the café directly at 425-633-2362 or visit http://cafecesura.com.
Whoa. Deja vu! The title and tag both mistakenly refer to “Café Censura”, rather than “Café Cesura”.
Same mistake happened in the May 16th post (now corrected).

Thanks Vincent, We’ve corrected! We’ll have to look back, but I believe it was copied and pasted somewhere incorrectly.
Really was hoping for a sweet, pastry kind of place. Maybe they thought sandwidches would make more money…
Kevin-
We do have some great pastries, stop by and try one!
