Nordstrom announced last week that it will begin offering same-day delivery at its downtown Seattle and Bellevue Square stores. Items will be delivered to customers who live and work close by. The service will cost $10 (no minimum order), and as long as customers place their order by noon on Nordstrom’s website the item will be hand-delivered by 6 p.m. the same day, 7 days a week.
For workers in the downtown Bellevue core, this convenience will be an asset to those accustomed to fighting for lunchtime parking at Bellevue Square.
On the Eastside, the same day delivery zone includes downtown Bellevue, Clyde Hill, Hunts Point, a small section of Kirkland, Medina, Mercer Island and Yarrow Point.
