Bellevue’s Seastar Turns 12 Years Old

Seastar logoTuesday, March 11th will mark the 12 year anniversary for chef John Howie’s Bellevue Seastar Restaurant and Raw Bar. The restaurant opened March 11th, 2002. Seastar has proved to be one of the best seafood restaurants in the greater Seattle area.

Not many restaurants in downtown Bellevue can say they’ve been in business for over 10 years. Congratulations to the John Howie’s Seastar team, this is quite an accomplishment.

    Maybe 12 is not a landmark anniversary, but it has stood the test of time, surviving two recessions and has at least 20 of its original crew. Unheard of in the restaurant industry. Average lifespan of a successful restaurant in 10 years, so 12 is fantastic! Going strong, keeping itself fresh and updated, and proud to be in Bellevue.
