The Seattle artist, Jeff Jacobson widely known as “Weirdo,” is painting his photorealistic, graffiti-esque art at Soma Towers Apartments, which is currently under construction in downtown Bellevue.
The urban art is ongoing until early May. Spectators can see the artist in action outside on west side of the tower at 288 106th Ave NE in downtown Bellevue. For a city that has been stereotyped for not having a lot of “culture” this is an impressive collaboration between an artist and a real estate developer.
The apartment tower is planned to be available for move-ins during June. For more information on the apartment project visit the Soma Towers website.
